1. How do I prepare for a pick-up?

Just pack it all up! Toss all your dirty laundry in a bag.... any bag will do, even a disposable trash bag, as long as it can be closed at the top! Then Simply leave your dirty laundry by your front door before your scheduled pick-up time. Your clean laundry will be delivered to the same location upon completion! It doesn't get any better than that, right? Well, actually....it does! All local pick-ups & deliveries are FREE!

*Don't worry about separating darks from lights or whites, we got that covered!! All you need to separate are any items that need to be air dried, wash & dried on a delicate setting, and/or dry cleaned; Please leave these items in a separate bag(s) and label accordingly.

*Linen laundry bags will be washed and returned with your folded laundry.


*If you would like for your air dried items to be returned on your own hangers, simply leave the number of hangers needed for your order, and your clothes will be returned ready to go straight into your closet!

4. What type of detergent do you use?

We only use detergents that have been rated "excellent" or "very good" by credible sources, such as Tide, Persil, and Charlie's Soap. Hypoallergenic detergent is available!

*Feel free to leave any specific laundry care products you would like used with your laundry for pickup. Any products supplied will be used for your order ONLY, and all leftover product unused will be returned with your completed order. (Specific laundry detergent, scent boosters, liquid fabric softener, dryer sheets, etc.)

2. Do I have to be home for the pick-up or delivery?

Nope! Just leave your laundry by your front door in time for your scheduled pickup, and we'll take care of the rest! You will receive a confirmation text that your order has been successfully collected. Upon delivery, your order will be delivered to the same location in which it was picked up!

If you can’t leave your laundry out after you place your order you can still use VL! When placing your order, simply let us know that your laundry cannot be left out and that we should knock/ring/message upon arrival, at which time you can hand-deliver your laundry.

Please note: If unable to secure order upon arrival, a no-show/minimum order fee of $25 will be ​billed.

7. Are there any contracts or hidden fees?

No contracts, no commitments! (However, we do offer discounts to clients whom have regularly weekly or bi-weekly pick-ups schedule!)

We want to be as clear and upfront as possible so you can plan and budget properly for your laundering needs! Here is a list of possible fees not yet mentioned:

Cancellation/Rescheduling: Adjustments to your order must be made within 24 hours of your scheduled pickup time. Orders not canceled within the required time frame will incur a $15 cancellation fee. Orders that are not rescheduled within the required time will acquire a $10 rescheduling fee.

No-Show: If your order cannot be secured upon arrival for pick-up, you will be charged the minimum order fee of $25.00.

Heavy Soilage/Pet Hair: Due to the extra time required to properly clean & sanitize after such instances, you may be charged a $10 fee.

Excessive Soilage/Pet Hair: Please contact us prior to scheduling a pick-up. Orders containing excessive hazardous materials, excessive blood/bodily fluids, etc. will NOT be accepted! Any such orders will be returned unlaundered with a $25.00 minimum order fee.

Holding Fee: If we cannot deliver your order within 48 hours of completion, a $10.00 holding fee will be applied, plus $5.00 for each additional day.

Long Distance Fee: Pick-up & Deliveries outside of a 15 mile radius from Cary, North Carolina will incur a small fee depending on the location.

3. What if it is raining during my scheduled delivery time?

All orders are always packaged in tightly sealed waterproof plastic bags for delivery! However, during exceptional weather conditions (heavy rain, snow, etc.), we will simply communicate with you directly to coordinate a safe & appropriate delivery time!

5. How does the payment process work?

Once your order is complete, you will receive an automated text message informing you that your order is ready for delivery and an invoice will be sent to you via e-mail. Payment can be made via Zelle, Pay Pal, Venmo, or Cash App. Once payment is received, you will receive an updated invoice, as well as a second automated text message confirming your payment, and your expected delivery time.

6. Do you offer any discounts?

Yes! A list of discounts can be found below:

Senior Citizens (55+): - $0.25/lb

Active/Retired Military, First Responders, Teachers: -$0.25/lb

"Welcome" First Time Customer: -$0.25/lb

Regularly Scheduled Weekly Pick-ups: -$0.10/lb
Regularly Scheduled Bi-Weekly Pick-ups: -$0.05/lb

8. Are tips accepted?

Tips can be added to your total at time of payment at your discretion. 100% of tips will be distributed to the laundry pro whom serviced, picked up, and delivered your order. If you prefer to tip in cash, please leave cash tips in an envelope labeled "Valet Laundry" for your laundry pro.

9. Do you offer gift certificates?

Yes! Who wouldn't love receiving the one thing that everyone always wishes they had: more time!
